Your senior year is filled with celebrations and events leading up to Commencement. Check out the events below for details.

Senior Countdown:

Friday, February 1, 2013      Great Hall, Woodard Campus Center

Marking 100 days before Commencement, this night is presented by Class Council. Graduate degree candidates are invited to attend the Senior Countdown.

Grad Nights:

February 12, 5 – 7 p.m.      Stafford Campus, North Building

February 13, 5 – 7 p.m.       Stafford Campus, North Building

Order your regalia, personalized graduation announcements, diploma frames and more on Senior Days and Grad Nights at Mary Washington. All graduates who plan to participate in the Commencement ceremony must purchase regalia.

Pick-up Nights:

Dates are Monday, April 22 – Thursday, April 25 from 4 – 6 p.m. North Atrium

If you are unable to pick-up your regalia during the above times your regalia will be available for pick-up in the Library, South Building.

Grad Ball:

Thursday, May 9, 2013 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.             Great Hall, Woodward Campus Center

Come out for a final formal celebration with your fellow graduates; music, food, and a cash wine bar are provided. Dress is formal to semi-formal. Every senior will be provided with two tickets. Guests are not required to be seniors or UMW students.

Graduation Ceremony:

Friday, May 10, 2013 7:30 p.m.        William M. Anderson Center

Masters graduates should report to the ground floor of the Anderson Center no later than 6:45 p.m.  Ushers will be available to show graduates where and how to line up.

Graduation Reception:

Friday, May 10, 2013 Immediately following the Commencement Ceremony, Jepson Alumni Executive Center
