Classroom Accommodations

Once a student has presented appropriate documentation of a disability, he or she may request accommodations in the classroom, which may include, but are not limited to:

  • Extended time on tests
  • Permission to tape record lectures
  • Note taking assistance
  • Distraction-reduced testing locations

To request an accommodation, the student must complete a Classroom Accommodations Request Form, submit it to the Office of Disability Services, and make an appointment with the Director.

I have Asperger's Syndrome and request information about my disability to give to my professors.
I would like a special enclosure regarding my disability to give to my professors (indicate below). This may require a meeting with the Director of Disability Services.
