The DOIT Organization: Change is Constant
DoIT comprises all of the central information technology offices at the University of Mary Washington, and the organization reports to R. F. "Chip" German Jr., the vice president for information resources and chief information officer, who in turn reports to Nina Mikhalevsky, UMW's acting provost and vice president for strategy and policy .

Linked below are organization charts for the major DoIT components:
The Department of Information Technologies is now part of the newly designated "Information Resources" vice-presidential area, along with the University Libraries and the Teaching and Learning Technologies group.
The 2006-08 academic years brought a range of physical-location moves for the Department of Information Technologies. For example, the DoIT Help Desk has now moved to its permanent home in the gound-floor level of George Washington Hall. Click here for more information about DoIT office moves.
In other technology organization moves, the Department of University Data Management (formerly the Division of Information Systems), which deals with a range of issues associated with data management at the University and, reports directly to Vice President Mikhalevsky, is now located on the second floor of the South Building at the University's College of Graduate and Professional Studies campus in Stafford.
