Discipline-Specific Software Inventory
The following list represents DTLT's current information about discipline-specific software being used by academic departments and programs at UMW. It does not necessarily include information about individual copies of software that may be installed on faculty desktop computers. As you are preparing your budget requests, in addition to reviewing this list, you may wish to consult with your faculty about particular programs they are using which may require upgrades or renewals.

Please note that widely used software such as SPSS, ARTStor, and ESRI GIS titles are not included in this list. As these titles are currently in use by a range of academic departments, budgeting for their upgrading and renewal occurs within the central IT budget.
