Enterprise SystemS

This unit of the Department of Information Technologies Information Systems Division is responsible for installation, system administration and maintenance of all servers housing our institutional information. The Unix servers host the applications and databases for Sungard SCT Higher Education Banner and Luminis, our administrative information system and OneU portal software. The unit is also responsible for the University's course management system, Blackboard, and the University's Web Servers.

Enterprise Systems is also in the process of converting the College of Arts and Sciences Computer Science program from an old Hewlett-Packard HP-UX system to a more up to date combination of Sun Solaris and SUSE Linux systems.
