Personal Assessments
Once in a while, we all need to stop and do a "spot check" to make sure our perceptions of ourselves are in line with the perceptions others have of us. There's nothing more frustrating then plowing along in a certain direction thinking we have crowds behind us, only to turn around and see that we are alone because our intentions were misunderstood or we didn't understand others. Even though, it isn't always the easiest thing to do, it definitely is worthwhile to point the magnifying glass at ourselves once in awhile!
Employees
searching for individual development can take advantage of the various
self-assessments offered through this program
Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI), for supervisors only
Measures leadership behavior in terms of five practices: challenging
the process, inspiring a shared vision, enabling others to act, modeling
the way, and encouraging the heart.
Communication Style Evaluation, for all employees
Used to assess a person's communication style in terms of perceived
image, task management, approachability, empowerment of others, and
conflict management.
