Utility expenditures represent the largest portion of annual operations
and maintenance expenses. Continuing campus growth, both in number of
students as well as number of buildings, along with renovation and modernization
of older buildings with air conditioning and electrical systems to support
technology requirements will continue to drive utility expenditures
upward.
