David E. Hunt, Jr., Professor of Theatre, received an MFA (1975) in design from the University of California at Los Angeles and a B.A. (1973) in drama from the State University of New York at Buffalo. A recipient of the Amoco Award for Scene Design Excellence, Hunt is an expert in lighting and scenery design, as well as theatrical makeup and scene painting.
