Accounting Office

The Accounting Office accounts for all revenue, expenditures and fixed assets of the University of Mary Washington, which includes James Monroe Museum and Melchers Memorial Estate and Gallery. This office establishes Banner FOAPAL elements, Banner Finance Security, processes transfers between ORGs, and handles wire transfers. Charges for GE MasterCard, bookstore, copying, mailing and transportation services are also distributed to individual departments by the Accounting staff.

The Accounting Offices handles all Grant management and reporting, university investments, Federal programs, financial statements, reconciliations, policy and procedural development and systems control. Questions concerning Banner transactions, or any of the aforementioned activities, should be referred to the accounting staff, listed below. The Accounting Offices are located in GW Hall, rooms 111, 308, 310 and 310A. The offices are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
