File the FAFSA by March 1 to be considered for all types of financial aid. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov to file on-line. Award notifications will be mailed by April 15, 2008 to all first-time students who file on-time and for whom UMW received valid results from the FAFSA. Supporting documentation that has been requested by UMW (such as tax returns) must be submitted before June 1 for students to retain the financial assistance that was awarded.
