CLASSES WITHOUT QUIZZES

Alumni College 2009 was held May 28 and 29 at the University of Mary Washington.  Registrants enjoyed exciting "classes without quizzes" taught by knowledgeable professors in a fun and friendly setting.  Topics explored included poetry, art, autism, historic preservation, China, the economy, and understanding the brain and aging.

Carolyn Kreiter-Foronda '69 was the keynote speaker at the opening luncheon held in the Rappahannock Grand Ballroom at the Jepson Alumni Executive Center. She was the 2006-2008 Poet Laureate of Virginia and a 2007 recipient of the UMW Distinguished Alumnus Award.
