Fund for Mary Washington

The Fund for Mary Washington represents the generous gifts received each year from alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff and members of the senior class. Gifts to the Fund help support vital UMW programs to maintain the high margin of excellence and quality liberal arts educational programs for which Mary Washington is recognized.

Since the Commonwealth of Virginia provides less than 23 percent of the University operating budget, UMW is especially grateful for all unrestricted gifts. Each year, these unrestricted funds are used to support scholarships, events, publications, and areas of need across the University.

When you make a gift to the Fund for Mary Washington, you demonstrate your dedication and commitment to higher education and to the University of Mary Washington.
