Gift Clubs

The University of Mary Washington maintains recognition clubs to acknowledge donors whose generosity helps support the College. Matching gifts from a donor's employer are combined when determining the donor's level of recognition. Each year, all donors are recognized in the President's Message and Annual Report of Gifts.

PRESIDENT'S COUNCIL

The four gift societies within the President's Council highlight the generosity and dedication of UMW's most influential supporters. Members of this elite group of supporters are invited to join the President's Book Club, and are treated to special luncheons, readings and book-signings with nationally recognized authors. Members are invited to the President's Council Reception and Dinner in the fall, and are honored with VIP privileges during Fredericksburg Forums. In the spring, members of the Brompton, Cornerstone and 1908 Societies are invited to the annual President's Key Reception at Brompton. Members of the President's Council also receive preferred booking for the UMW President's Travel Club.
