Employer Matching Gifts
You can double or triple the impact of your gift!
More than 1,000 companies sponsor matching gift programs to support higher education for employees and their families.
- Each year, many UMW supporters make sure their dollars go as far as possible. Last year donors checked with their Human Resources Departments and took the extra steps to help Mary Washington receive $108,159 in corporate matching gifts!
- To find out if your company has a matching gift program, contact your Human Resources Department. If your company has a matching gift plan, request the appropriate form and send it to UMW along with your contribution.
- When UMW receives the matching gift from your company, it will be combined with your gift to determine your gift club recognition level.
- Many companies also match gifts from retirees, spouses, and outside directors. So please check all matching possibilities.
