In today's highly competitive, increasingly technical, and rapidly changing global economy, this dual degree option allows students to better position themselves for sustained competitve advantage upon graduation. The dual program provides students with the management, leadership, and technical skills required for the global marketplace.
Admission Requirements
Application Dates
Your application should be complete (application forms, transcripts, and all supporting documents) by the following dates:
Fall Admission: June 1
Spring Admission: October 1
Summer Admission: March 1

Application Checklist

- Application for Admission and a $50 application fee or fee waiver. APPLY ONLINE AND HAVE YOUR $50 APPLICATION FEE WAIVED! (Simply type CGPS1 before you submit your application)
- An earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university
- A GPA of at least 3.0 for the final 60 undergraduate hours of course work
- Students whose undergraduate GPA is below 3.0 may be asked to take the GMAT or GRE.
- Current résumé
- A one-page summary of applicant’s educational and professional goals
- Official transcripts from all academic institutions attended
- Three Recommendations on the form provided
- One or more years of professional experience preferred
- Demonstration of competency on the Test of English as a Foreign Language, as necessary, if the student's native language is not English.
- Please submit the International Student Application Supplement if applicable
Students without prior coursework in foundation areas must complete appropriate classes toward the degree. Total number of credits needed to complete the MBA-MSMIS Dual Degree program ranges from 61 to 78, depending on the number of foundation courses required.
