Announcements
UMW finance cards
The new UMW Finance Cards were distributed this week, and the UMW campus is strongly urged to use these cards whenever possible. The cards may be used to pay for the following items:
- Business meals
- Travel-related expenses when traveling with a student
- OSACS, Residence Life and Honor Council expenses
- Agency fund expenditures (banner fund that begins with an 8)
The implementation of this new card required a strengthening of internal procedures, which includes allowing only the person who signs out the card to use it. In addition, the person signing out the card must sign for it in the presence of the card issuer. Please be sure to read umw.edu/ap/creditcards/umwcard for details regarding the use of these cards. If you have any questions, please contact Leigh Penn at 540/654-1226 in Accounts Payable.
