Spanish Assistant Professor

The University of Mary Washington invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Spanish to begin fall 2010.  

Requirements: Candidates must have PhD. in hand by August 15, 2010. Candidates must also have native or near native fluency in both Spanish and English and experience in teaching all levels of language, culture and/or literature to undergraduate students. Normal teaching load is 12 hours per semester. Candidates must also be able to enhance the growth of the program through departmental and college-wide service. Preferred Qualifications:  Expertise in literature and culture of the Southern Cone or in Latin American Theater preferred.
