Maintaining a Respectful Workplace
The following resources are provided to ensure that UMW employees understand the University's expectations regarding respectful behavior in the workplace. The Respectful Workplace Brochures reference University and state policies regarding Sexual Harassment, Workplace Harassment, Workplace Violence, and the State Grievance Process for Classified Employees, as well as direct employees to resources within the University and beyond that may be able to assist them if a concern about respect in the workplace arises.
The Respectful Workplace Brochures and Workplace Violence Prevention Course are presented to new employees at the time of their orientation and provided to all employees for review on a bi-annual basis.
