Banner for Employees: Self-Service Basics

On this page, you will find information on how to enter and exit Banner. Click on the topics to the right for important information regarding the different Banner functions.

How to Access "Self-Service" Banner

Go to the Eaglelink Portal at http://eaglelink.umw.edu.

Login using your NetID and Network Password, then hit "login".

To access all features of Banner Self-Service, including Banner Self-Service for Employees, use the Banner Self-Service channel on the upper left-hand side of the screen:


To access Banner Employee Self-Service specifically, click on the words "Banner Self-Service," and then "Employee":

This will open up a menu of selected Banner Self-Service for Employee features.

Clicking on these links will take you to these resources (in Banner and outside Banner) directly from the channel. Banner pages will be framed within the Eaglelink portal, but will be all the familiar Banner Self-Service Views.

To exit Banner Self-Service, and remain in the portal, you can select "back to Eaglelink Home Tab" as shown above. If you would like to exit the portal AND Banner, click on the "logout" icon on the upper right-hand side of the portal screen.

TO PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION, IT IS IMPORTANT TO LOGOUT AFTER EVERY PORTAL SESSION, PARTICULARLY IF YOU ARE AT A PUBLIC WORKSTATION OR LAB.
