International Friendship Program
The International Friendship Program (IFP) pairs up an International and an American student based on shared hobbies, interests, and majors. IFP encourages members to meet once a month to establish cross-cultural friendships and to participate in group activities and/or excursions.
IFP turned "CLUB" in Fall 2009, with Kelsey Coates as the President, Anya Bogdanow as the Assistant President, and Yuna Lee as the club's secretary. At the beginning of each semester, the officers help coordinate group's activities on or near campus (such as pot lucks, happy hours, and desserts) and plans excursions to places such as Snead's Farm, Washington, D.C., King's Dominion, and Colonial Williamsburg.
To join IFP, simply click here for application and drop off the completed application at the Office of International Academic Services (Lee Hall, Room 435). A club officer will contact interested members.
