ILL System Update
Server problem fixed earlier than anticipated! The ILL system is now back up.
Due to a server problem, the ILL system will be unavailable until at least Monday, December 20. If you wish to make an ILL request, send an email with all of the information to cbailey@umw.edu . If you have a question about a pending request, call the Interlibrary Loan Office at 654-1746.

Library Systems Work Over Christmas Break Means Some Downtime
This schedule for system maintenance in Simpson Library may be altered at any point due to unforeseen circumstances. Please contact the Reference Desk at 654-1148 for any changes or to check system availability.
Monday, Dec. 13: All public workstations and public printing will be unavailable.
Tuesday-Thursday, Dec. 14-18: The Library catalog will be unavailable all 3 days. The Library's web site will be down during a portion of this time, although the actual schedule for this is not known.
Tuesday, Jan. 4: The Library catalog will be unavailable.

Food and Drink in the Library? Yes!!! Introducing...
...the EXAM CAFE in Simpson Library. From 7 p.m. until midnight each evening starting Monday, November 29 through Thursday, December 8, UMW's Dining Services will operate the Exam Cafe on the first floor of Simpson Library, selling coffee, soda and snacks. Both cash and EagleOne cards will be accepted.

Thanksgiving closing information
Simpson Library will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday from Wed., 11/24, at Noon until Monday, 11/29, at 8:00 a.m. The Library will also close early on Tuesday, 11/23, at 7:00 p.m. Always check the Library's Hours page or call the Library Information/Hours line at 654-1125 during holidays and semester breaks for changes to our regular hours!

The Bullet Index Now Available Online
The index for The Bullet issues from Fall, 1991 to the current update is now online. Selected records from Fredericksburg’s local newspaper, the Free Lance-Star, that pertain to the University of Mary Washington are also indexed for the same time period. Learn more.

NEW! JSTOR Arts and Sciences II Collection
Simpson Library now subscribes to the JSTOR Arts and Sciences II Collection, home to 122 journal titles (archived)--some going back to the 1800's!
Adding depth to economics, history, and Asian Studies, it offers core journals in archaeology, classics, African, Latin American, Middle Eastern, and Slavic Studies. Find it under Databases on our Library Home Page!!
