Activities for Students

Throughout the academic year, public events such as concerts, lectures, the bi-annual Fredericksburg Forum, theatre productions, and gallery exhibits are available to all members of the UMW community. Many activities are free, or admission is discounted for students with a valid ID card. For more information, visit our University Calendar of Events.

There are also student-only activities in the various recreational facilities on the Fredericksburg campus. Campus Recreation offers a variety of sport clubs and intramural teams and events. Students enjoy a state-of-the-art Fitness Center which also features a Wellness Resource Center with a wealth of information on living a healthy lifestyle.

The Office of Student Activities and Community Services (OSACS) s works with Class Council to sponsor events such as Drive-In Movies, Halloweens, Devil-Goat Day, and Club Carnival.

Undergraduate students at the Fredericksburg campus have a choice of over 100 clubs and organizations with every possible interest. For more information, visit the Student Activities Web site.
