Commuting to Campus
On the Fredericksburg campus, a large number of undergraduate students live off-campus and commute and have a wide range of services available on campus. Our Stafford campus, on the other hand, is designed only for the commuting student who may work during the day and take classes at night.
Commuting students, understandably, have different concerns from residential students, but have the same opportunities on each campus to share in student organizations, and attend evening cultural and entertainment activities of the University. For instance, adult undergraduate students on both campuses are eligible to compete in UMW Athletics.
