Wireless Networking Initiative

All academic buildings on both the Fredericksburg and Stafford campuses are furnished with wireless Internet access!

These days, higher education and mobile computing go hand-in-hand. Wireless is coming rapidly to the UMW campus as most of our students arrive with laptops and extensive experience with home wireless networks and public wi-fi's. In the past academic year, the University began an ambitious initiative to implement wireless networking on the campus. At present, a wireless network connection is available in all academic buildings on the Fredericksburg and Stafford campus, and in the Woodard Campus Center.
