Abigail Cartwright McGhee Abbie McGhee serves as the University Relations Special Events Coordinator. She works with a variety of special events such as the Fredericksburg Forum, the Executive-in-Residence Program, and the Great Lives Series. She is a graduate of Radford University with a B.A. in Communication and Virginia Tech with a M.Ed. in Higher Education and University Administration. Prior to joining the University of Mary Washington she coordinated events at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Va. |

Margaret Mock Margaret has been a member of the University Relations team for more than 20 years. She currently serves as University Relations Special Projects Coordinator. In this position she is helping to plan the University’s 2007-08 Centennial Celebration. She is a member of Virginia Press Women and the College Communicators Association of Virginia and the District of Columbia, as well as a charter member and past president of the Fredericksburg Public Relations Society. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Illinois and holds a master of arts in liberal studies degree from the University of Mary Washington. In a prior life she was a high school history and government teacher. A native of North Carolina, she has lived in Virginia for more than 30 years. |
