University Marketing is responsible for strategic communications and branding of the University of Mary Washington.

Jeanne came to Fredericksburg, Virginia at a time of institutional transition.  In 2003, the University name was changing from Mary Washington College to University of Mary Washington.   On July 1, 2004, she was part of a small on-campus committee that introduced a new logo to the alumni, the on-campus community, and the community-at-large. During the ensuing months, Jeanne developed and distributed 12 new recruitment publications for the two UMW campuses, realigned the advertising and direct mail strategies, and set out to re-brand the University.

Previously, Jeanne was the director of marketing for the University of Richmond’s School of Continuing Studies. She has held several posts with the University Continuing Education Association (UCEA), serving as a board member, co-chair of the Futures and Markets Commission, and as chair of the UCEA Marketing Community of Practice. She is actively involved with the Rappahannock United Way marketing efforts and serves as the President of the local Chamber of Commerce Leadership Fredericksburg Alumni Association.

Kelly Eury joined the University of Mary Washington in October 2007 and serves as the Marketing Assistant.   She primarily works with the Director of University Marketing, promoting and recruiting for the College of Arts and Science and the College of Graduate and Professional Studies campuses.  She is a graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Communication.  Prior to joining UMW, she worked for three years at the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce as the Publications Manager.
