This week UMW welcomes more than 4,000 undergraduates back to campus for the start of the spring 2017 semester.
The coming weeks are packed with important dates and deadlines for students, as well as performances, athletics and other events to keep Fredericksburg residents – and the entire UMW community – entertained.
The Great Lives lecture series, for example, kicks off with a presentation about Woodrow Wilson on Jan. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Dodd Auditorium. The following evening Attorney Bakari Sellers will deliver the Martin Luther King keynote address in the University Center’s Chandler Ballroom at 7 p.m.
March will be here before you know it, and with it, Spring Break. In April, UMW will inaugurate its 10th president, Troy D. Paino. Then it’s on to commencement in May!
Don’t forget to use UMW calendars, including the two listed below, to keep your spring schedule on track.
