WHAT IS LEAP?

The Leadership Emergence & Advancement Program (LEAP) is for incoming students who are interested in becoming student leaders at UMW and who want to enhance and develop their leadership skills for personal and business use. The program will host a variety of workshops, seminars, and activities throughout the year aimed at fostering the development of leadership skills.

WHY IS LEAP FOR YOU?

As a new student of the University of Mary Washington it can be overwhelming trying to find your place. You may already have the desire to be a leader at UMW, but are unsure of how to begin. LEAP can offer you guidance, resources, positive role models, support, a network of students who are already leaders, and advice on being involved.
