There are also many area museums and Civil War battlefields for students to visit. Students can use the FRED bus system to get around the Fredericksburg regional area for free with their student ID (Bus Route #2 comes to College Avenue).

Students can also visit our nation's capital by using the train station and the Washington Metro.
