Dahlgren Campus Crime Statistics

 

The Dahlgren campus opened on January 3, 2012.  Because the campus was not a part of the UMW system until that date, the 2011 crime statistics do not apply to this Annual Security Report.  All crime information for the Dahlgren campus will be included in the 2013 and subsequent Annual Security Reports.

 

Daily Crime Log

 

The University of Mary Washington Police Department maintains a Daily Crime Log all campus reported crimes.  The crime log is located in the UMW Emergency Communications Office in Brent Hall, and is accessible for review by the general public upon request to the on duty police communications officer.  The Daily Crime Log is available for viewing at the Dahlgren campus during business hours at the IT office, room 142.  The Daily Crime Log is available for viewing at the Stafford campus during business hours at the reception desk in the South building.

 

All reported crimes will be listed by:

- Date the crime was reported to Police

- Nature, date, time and general location of each crime

- Disposition of the compliant, if known.

 

Reports made to the University Police Department will be entered into the Daily Crime Log within two business days (defined as Monday thru Friday, excluding state/national holidays) of the actual date the Police report was taken.
