Supervision
The chair is the direct supervisor of department adjunct faculty, and as such will provide them with teaching and office assignments and is their point of contact on all matters pertaining to the employment, professional responsibilities, and working conditions. Feedback on the quality of chair supervision should also be directed on a confidential basis to the Dean of the Faculty.
