Classrooms and AV Equipment
The CGPS campus consists of two buildings with computer labs and a variety of classroom layouts available for instruction. There are integrated instructor support stations, as well as chairs and tables for faculty and students. The College’s instructional technology specialist conducts training for faculty on the equipment in their classroom as part of their technology orientation session. A member of the technology staff is available in the evenings for desktop and instructor station support. Faculty are asked to report classroom equipment in need of repair to a member of the technology support staff.
Classrooms are opened fifteen to thirty minutes prior to class. Faculty may contact the technology support personnel at (540) 286-8098 in the event assigned classrooms need to be opened earlier than scheduled.
