Course Contact Hours and Class Scheduling Formats
CGPS classes are offered in a variety of formats and scheduled during evenings, on weekends, in eight-week sessions, in a sixteen-week semester, and in combined class/on-line formats. Adjunct faculty should check with their program director to determine the number of hours of in-class vs. online instruction appropriate for the course they are teaching. In the event of inclement weather or an unanticipated absence, it is the responsibility of the instructor to ensure that students receive the prescribed number of instructional contact hours.
