Adjunct Faculty Compensation & Pay Dates
The adjunct faculty pay scale is based on the level of the instructor’s teaching assignment (undergraduate or graduate) and a matrix of two variables: highest earned degree and teaching experience (as defined by the number of documented graded college courses taught). It is the adjunct faculty member’s responsibility to provide the associate vice president for academic affairs and administrative services with supporting information and documentation to assure that appropriate compensation is received.
Adjunct faculty receive their paychecks on the first and sixteenth of the month by direct deposit and the University does not, under any circumstances, pay salary advances to adjunct faculty.
