Step 6) Consider pre-professional interests

The University of Mary Washington offers a variety of programs designed to prepare students for professional careers. A list of pre-professional interests is listed to the right. While these programs are not majors offered by the University (although the philosophy major does offer a pre-law concentration), they are designed to help certify or transition students into their chosen field. Please follow the links for more detailed information. Any new student interested in one of these options should consult with the appropriate advisor during his/her first semester at the University.
