Step 1) Fill out the New Student Questionnaire

The deadline to fill out the New Student Questionnaire is January 5.

The choices you indicate on the Questionnaire will be used to determine your initial assignment to an academic advisor, but you are NOT committing to a specific major. Whenever possible, advisors are assigned based on your area of academic interest; however, only declared majors (transfer students may declare a major after gaining access to Banner if they come in with 28 or more credits; contact Academic Services for more information) can be guaranteed an advisor in their discipline; however, all advisors are given the support and materials to assist students in transition. Students will be able to view the name of their advisor in Banner (the University's web-based records system) by January 12, 2009.
