Convinced that the library is an integral part of the University’s educational program, the library faculty offers a wide variety of services to develop students’ competence in library use and their understanding of the increasingly complex world of information. These programs include assistance to classes on research projects, classroom instruction in the use of automated information retrieval systems, specialized departmental instruction and individual patron assistance.
Library Science Course Offerings
101 – Library and Internet Resources (1)
An introduction to library and online research resources with an emphasis on search techniques and strategies. Students learn how information is organized and become proficient in finding, using, and evaluating resources in both print and online formats.
