The Academic Catalog of the University of Mary Washington includes the official announcements of academic programs and policies, as well as information on admission, financial aid, advising, registration and other related topics. All students are responsible for knowing the policies of the University.

Although the listing of courses in this Catalog indicates the content and scope of the curriculum, changes do occur, and the actual offerings in any term may differ from those indicated in preliminary announcements. Because programs and policies change from time to time according to procedures established by the faculty and administration of the University, statements in the Catalog do not constitute an actual or implied contract between the student and the University. The definitive version of the Catalog shall be the electronic version published on the University web site.
