A+ Certification
The Technology Academy offers a 10-session course for adults seeking the industry
recognized A+ computer certification. The course prepares individuals to take two test
modules that must be passed to gain A+ certification.

is required by numerous hardware vendors that allow only an A+ certified technician to
perform warranty service.
Individuals with A+ certification have broad-based knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies including configuration, diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and basic networking.
Network+ Certification
Network+ is a certification that measures the technical knowledge of networking
professionals with some experience in the IT industry. The Network+ certification
establishes an individual’s fundamental IT skills in the areas of basic networking concepts
and technologies. The certification also acts as a foundation for more advanced network
training.
The 10-session, instructor-led Network+ training at the Technology Academy
prepares individuals to take the CompTIA Network+ certification exam. Individuals with
Network+ certification have the technical networking skills essential for success as entrylevel
