INDIVIDUAL STUDY.
A student may undertake a project of individual study. Each department sets its own guidelines for these projects; therefore, any student interested in individual study should consult the chairperson of the department involved, as well as the professor who will serve as supervising instructor, well in advance of registration. At the time of registration or during the Add Period, students planning individual study must present to the Office of the Registrar an Individual Study Registration form, complete with the signed approval of both the sponsoring department chairperson and the supervising instructor.
