RESIDENCE REQUIREMENT.

A student who is a candidate for the B.A. or B.S. degree must earn at least 30 academic credits at the University of Mary Washington as a degree-seeking student. At least one-half of the B.A./B.S. major program requirements must be earned at UMW, unless more are required by the major department.  A student who is a candidate for the B.L.S. degree must earn at least 30 academic credits at the University of Mary.  At least 15 credits in the B.L.S. major program must be earned at UMW.

In addition, at least 15 of the last 21 credits of the B.A./B.S. degree program must be completed at UMW.  (In other words, a B.A./B.S. student may take at another institution a maximum of 6 of the last 21 credits required for the Degree Program.)
