3.9 Orientation for New Full-Time Faculty
New faculty, upon reporting for work, must meet with HRO for basic orientation concerning employment at the University and to complete forms for payroll, insurance, and other essential matters. An obligatory orientation session, designed to acquaint new faculty with academic affairs at the College and introduce them to the various individuals and offices with which faculty frequently interact, is held each year for all new faculty during the week before the beginning of the fall semester. No meeting may take place before August 16. It is conducted by the Dean and/or the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs.
