Condolences to the Bennetts
The Mary Washington community extends its deep and sincere sympathy to Jean Bennett, administrator in the Department of Psychology, and her husband, Edgar.
The Bennett’s son, Matthew, 9, died after being hit by a car April 1, 2005 near the family’s home in Spotsylvania County.
The Bennetts ask that contributions be made to Robert E. Lee Elementary School, 1715 Brock Road, Spotsylvania, Va. 22553.
The school will use donations to purchase new books for the library in memory of Matthew, who was a third grader there.
