Postcard History Series: Fredericksburg
by De’Onne C. Scott
Established in 1728, the city of Fredericksburg was named for Prince Frederick of England. From its humble beginnings as a Colonial port town, Fredericksburg has grown into a modern urban city with a historic district that serves to remind visitors and residents alike of its notable past. In Postcard History Series: Fredericksburg, De’Onne C. Scott ’99 makes the city come alive through the use of postcards that show its various landmarks as they once were.
Postcard History Series: Fredericksburg was published in December 2006 by Arcadia Publishing.
