A group of classmates met last April for an extended lunch at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond. The group included Mim Riggs Gay, Elizabeth Sullivan Vaughan, Sallie Scott, Lois Davis Minetree, Betty Lou Loftis Bailey, Janice Worsley Mayberry, Vivian Wilkerson, Mickey Dixon Sullivan, “Libba” Harrison Leitch and Dot Miller. Not ones to give up a good party, Betty Lou, Libba and Sallie (who keep in touch almost daily) spent the night at the Jefferson and continued the party with Lois and Dot.

Mim writes that all were looking good and feeling great – a few canes and a few joint replacements, but very alert and astute. We did remember how much Elaine “Sally” Heritage Jordan and Liz Sharpe did for our 50th reunion, and noted that our 60th is coming up.

Carolyn Rohr Huebner and husband John journeyed to Waddington, England, last December to attend the wedding of their son. Afterward, Carolyn and John enjoyed a two-week vacation in Pompano Beach, Fla. Carolyn was also invited by Lillie Turman’s ’36 sister to attend a memorial service for Miss Turman in Bryn Mawr, Pa. Miss Turman died last December. Carolyn also recently visited with Elaine “Sally” Heritage Jordan, her former roommate.

Elizabeth Stallings Sharpe reported that her daughter Marcia had come several times to visit her in Oklahoma. Marcia’s son, Rob, completed his undergraduate degree at Southern Nazarene University and is now working on an MBA.

Frances Holsclaw Brown passed away in August 2003. We send our deepest sympathy to her family.

Sue Vick Warren writes that she and George have had some problems but feel fortunate they are able to stay in their home and keep on their feet. Hurricane Isabel did major damage to their home; however, all has been repaired. George III is still in the Washington, D.C., area. Francis is now working in Alabama.

Helen Rasmussen Wallace writes that despite some medical problems, she and husband Jack are fine. Time flies! Has it really been 62 years since we first roomed together?
