From Teresa Joerger Mannix: Kedron Bullock recently graduated from Regent University School of Law and sat for the Virginia bar exam in July. She has been offered a job with a firm in Chesapeake, Va.

Ashley P. Beck lives in Richmond and works for Dominion Virginia Power. Julia Ciarlo also lives in Richmond and is director of outside counsel for Virginia Attorney General Jerry Kilgore. She is engaged and is planning a spring 2005 wedding. Jessica Bergner has been living in Japan since 2002, working as an assistant English teacher in a rural area of the country.

Matt Cliszis is an underwriter for Chubb Insurance in New York and is dating Pam Kirby, who works for MTV. Jason Cobb is in Santa Monica, Calif., soaking up the sun and working for a marketing firm. Patty Donachy moved to Arizona, earned a teaching certificate, and now teaches high school biology.

Sarah Downey Kelly was married last fall to Thomas Kelly of Tipperary, Ireland, and they now live outside of Boston. She is a mental health counselor in an adolescent residential home. Brooke Dunbar married Peter Squire ’02 last fall in Maryland. Sheri Asbeil was a bridesmaid, Nene Wallace ’02 was a groomsman, and Seth Kennard gave a reading. Brooke and Peter live in Washington, D.C., where she works for a literacy non-profit organization and he works at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren. Peter is in graduate school at George Mason University taking human factors and applied cognition.

Brendan Eygabroat and Zac Sargent still live together in Boston. Brendan earned a master’s degree from Suffolk University, and Zac works for the Boston Preservation Alliance. Catherine Ford graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a master’s degree in environmental science. She is planning a June wedding.

Jacquie Frank earned a master’s degree in speech pathology. She was weeding through job offers and attempting to find the perfect position near her home in Toms River, N.J. Nathaniel Haas lives in Boulder, Colo., plays in a band, and works at a mountain resort on the weekends. He hangs out with Alistair Miller ’00, James Trezza ’99, Jake Rogers ’03, and Jessica Ritchie ’04.

Gina Han is still in Fredericksburg, working on a master’s degree in education. Sara Harney is a high school counselor and lives in Alexandria, Va.
Jamie Harper works in Washington, D.C., for a congressman and was planning a fall wedding. Jennifer L. Hoffman is studying for a master’s degree at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and working as a registered nurse. Katherine Hunt earned a master’s degree and works as a curatorial assistant at the Winterthur Museum near Wilmington, Del.

Laura Indzeris is engaged to Tom Johnson ’97. Laura works for the Rappahannock United Way in Fredericksburg while Tom is a contractor at Fort A.P. Hill. Jay Johnston received a promotion that took him to Roanoke, Va., where he is managing an independent adjusting firm. He also works with inner-city kids and helps with the youth group at a local church.

Vanessa Keller lives in New York and is working on a master’s degree in bilingual, special and general education. In the fall, she became the head teacher of her own classroom while she finishes her degree. Kim Kelley and Chris Winslow were married in June and honeymooned in Montego Bay. Kim continues her career at KPMG and Chris recently completed his first year of law school and an internship with Szabo, Zelnick & Erickson in Lake Ridge, Va.

Kelli Kramer and Joe Petrick, both of whom received master of education degrees from the University of Washington, planned a September wedding. They then were to spend the fall traveling across the country visiting friends and family before departing in January for assignments with the Peace Corps.

Claudia Matamala was married in July. She teaches biology at Annandale High School in Virginia and is working on a master’s degree in education at George Mason University.

Danielle A. Matuch has returned from a year in Florence, Italy, studying architecture with Syracuse University for her master’s degree. She is attending Syracuse, teaching a design studio, and hopes to graduate next spring.

Jill McDonald Good was married in May and is working on a master of arts degree at Princeton Theological Seminary in New Jersey. Andrew Luis Mercado finished his master’s degree in engineering physics at U.Va. and is now working on a doctorate.

John Montez teaches social studies at Brooke Point High School in Stafford. Lauren Oviatt Brennan was married in June. She works full time at the University of Arizona in career counseling and is purusing a degree in higher education administration in Tucson.

Rose Pantazis sat for the Virginia bar exam in July. Benjamin Peck completed Peace Corps volunteer service in the Dominican Republic and moved to Phoenix, where he is attending graduate school for an MBA at the Garvin School of International Management. Jason Roy works as a paramedic for New Hanover Regional EMS and lives 15 minutes from the beach in Wilmington, N.C. Catherine Saifer passed the bar exam in May and moved to New York to start a new adventure.

Robert Sanders works in mortgage lending for Banks National in Tysons Corner, Va. His goal is to move to California and pursue the same line of work. Anna Stensvaag moved to Boston, where she works in sales and marketing.

Corie Tarbet teaches high school world history in Woodbridge, Va. He also is enrolled in the history master’s degree program at George Mason. Kelly Turcic Bailey and her husband finished remodeling the downstairs of their house and spent the summer traveling, then Kelly started graduate work in the fall. Their two puppies keep them busy.

Meg Weireter completed her MFA in creative writing at Emerson College. She lives in Boston, where she works at the Harvard Common Press (for money) and writes poems (for pleasure). Sarah Wharen Wright was married in May and works at AOL in Dulles, Va.

Shari Wilcox and Brian Sweeney moved to Austin, Texas. Shari is in a master’s program in geography at the University of Texas, and Brian is manager of a national homebuilding company. Melissa Wilson earned a master’s degree in applied history from George Mason. She is looking for a position in the museum field and has applied for jobs in New England.

I am continuing with my studies at George Mason and stay busy working in the Office of University Relations at Mary Washington. Erin Murray and I trained this summer for a 10-mile run.
