University of Mary Washington will run a 2005 sequel to its enormously popular
Great Lives public lecture series, which debuted last year. The sessions will
be held on Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m., beginning Jan. 20, 2005.
In addition to Alexander the Great, the series will highlight such notables
as Elvis Presley and Eleanor of Aquitaine, Mozart and Muhammed, George Washington,
Harriet Tubman, Robert E. Lee, Winston Churchill and John F. Kennedy.
