Important April Dates

For students on the Fredericksburg campus:

March 24-April 4 Advance Registration Period for Fall 2008
April 25

Last day to withdraw from the University for Spring 2008;

Deadline for Removal of Incompletes from Fall 2007;

Last day of classes for Spring 2008

April 26-27 Reading Days
April 28 - May 2 Final Examinations
May 3 Residence halls close at 10 a.m.

 

For students on the stafford campus:

April 9 Last day to withdraw from a course for the 2nd 8-week session without an automatic "F", if the student is registered for the 2nd 8-week session only
April 26

Last day to withdraw from the semester for students registered for the 16-week semester and/or the 2nd 8-week session;

Last day of class for the 16-week semester;

Last day of class for the 2nd 8-week session

April 28 - May 3

Final examinations for the 16-week semester;

Final examinations for the 2nd 8-week session

The Office of the Registrar for the Fredericksburg campus is located on the west half of the second floor of George Washington Hall. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The Office of the Registrar for the Stafford campus is located in the south building in room 144 and is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Services available in the Office of the Registrar include registration, transfer credit evaluation, final degree audit, cancellations and withdrawals, leave of absences, enrollment and degree verifications, veteran certification and issuing of transcripts. For questions regarding billing or tuition and fees, please see the Office of Student Accounts . Students and parents with questions about grants, scholarships and loan program should direct them to the Office of Financial Aid.
