Spring 2006 REGISTRATION

CONTINUING DEGREE-SEEKING STUDENTS aND STUDENTS WITH OFFICIAL LEAVES OF ABSENCE

Advance Registration begins October 31, 2005.  Students must check the Registrar’s web page at:

http://www.umw.edu/registrar/registration_appointments/default.php

to obtain their registration appointment date and time which will be available on October 25, 2005.

The student may register Online through Banner, the University’s web registration system at their appointed time or anytime thereafter until November 11, 2005.  Adjustments to the schedule can be made online between November 16 and December 10, 2005.  Students may also register by mailing or bringing their registration form to the Office of Advising and Student Services from their October or November appointment date to the last day to add a class in January.

Degree-seeking students with official Leaves of Absence (who did not transfer fees) and who register from December 1, 2005 forward must pay full tuition and a $40.00 processing fee at the time of registration.

MASTER OF EDUCATION DEGREE STUDENTS

All returning M.Ed. students, must register with their Faculty Advisor.

All new M.Ed. students for Spring 2006 will register with the CGPS Office of Advising and Student Services.  All registrations submitted December 1, 2005 forward must be accompanied by full tuition and fees payment.

MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION DEGREE STUDENTS

All returning MBA students should follow directions noted above for “Continuing Degree-Seeking Students.” 

MBA students are not required to meet with an advisor, therefore they may register by mail, fax or Online beginning on their appointment date and continuing until the end of the add period. 

New MBA students may not register Online.  They may mail, fax or bring their registration form to the Office of Advising and Student Services.

BACHELOR OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES DEGREE STUDENTS

All returning BPS students should follow directions noted above for “Continuing Degree-Seeking Students.”

BPS students are not required to meet with an advisor, therefore they may register by mail, fax or Online beginning on their appointment date and continuing until the end of the add period.

New BPS Students may not register Online. They may mail, fax or bring their registration form to the Office of Advising and Student Services.

In order for BPS students to count a course toward a major/ concentration requirement, each student must have the “Permission to take Courses at the Other Campus” form signed by the Program Director.  Without this form, all courses taken at the other campus will be counted as elective credit.
