What is the RRSBDC?

The Rappahannock Region Small Business Development Center (RRSBDC) is a resource center that provides assistance to the small business community via management training, industrial and demographic research, and confidential one-on-one counseling with a focus on capital access and management planning.

The Rappahannock Region Small Business Development Center consist of two offices one located in the Stafford County, and the other in Warsaw Virginia.

Stafford Office Servers: The City of Fredericksburg, and the Counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, Stafford, and surrounding areas.
Warsaw Office Servers: The Counties of Essex, King & Queen, King Williams, Lancaster, Middlesex, Northumberland, Richmond, and Westmoreland.

Who can Use the RRSBDC?

Any existing or startup small business in the Rappahannock Region can use the Services of the RRSBDC. You only have to be considering the idea of opening a business or researching the feasibility of the proposed profit making venture.

How do I become a Client?

Existing small business owners can become clients of either RRSBDC Offices by completing and signing a Request for Counseling Form. If your business in located in the Stafford's office area click this link Request for Counseling Form , and if your business is located in the Warsaw office area,click this link Request for Counseling form. Confidential consultation is by appointment only and is free of charge in both our locations.

Start-up business owners are required to take the "First Steps to Starting a Business" seminar before requesting an appointment with one of our business counselors.
